From 1995 to 2004 I worked for MTA New York City Transit in various capacities, 1995 to 1997 Assistant Chief Procurement Officer-Negotiations responsible for developing and negotiating major contracts in excess of $10Million; 1997 to 1999 Executive Assistant to the Senior Vice President of Operations Support overseeing day to day staff of 1200; and 1999 to 2004 Assistant Vice President of Customer Relations.
In June of 2004 relocated to Ft. Lauderdale and purchased a nationally know education franchise, providing individualized supplemental instruction for students from kindergarten through high school. As the owner/executive director successfully increased sales by 200%.
My career has been built on strong interpersonal communication skills that have enabled me to bring parties together to negotiate complex contracts as well as the analytical ability to arrive at the right price for both parties. I have always focused on customer service, for both internal and external customers. Understanding the needs of my customer, whether it is a corporation, a client in need of public transportation, or a 7-year-old first-grade student that has difficulty with reading comprehension, and working diligently to satisfy those needs is what sets me apart as successful business professional.
My husband and I are avid boaters who love to fish, so the Keys was the ultimate place to live. In January of 2008, we purchased our home on Summerland Key. It is our permanent residence.
